Young Carers @ Sealyham Activity Centre
We spent two fun filled days at Sealyham Activity Centre last week with some young carers. On Thursday we took the primary school pupils to Sealyham for some camp craft and sailing. The Return Of The Planetarium
This weekend saw 700 FREE tickets being snatched up for shows in the Planetarium courtesy of Dark Sky Wales. The two day event was held at the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven with the help of Dragon LNG and Pembrokeshire College.
St Aiden’s School @ Oriel Y Parc
21 pupils from St Aiden’s School in Wiston spent the morning kick sampling in the river next to St David’s Cathedral.
Exploring Dale With Little Elms
We took the pupils from Little Elms to explore Dale. First of all we did some seine netting in the estuary then we headed to the beach for some rock pooling!
St Florence School & The Frozen Planet
On 15th January 2012 William McNamara was at the South Pole and he was kind enough to collect some ice for us! As St Florence school have been learning all about our frozen planet we took our melted ice to show them and to find out what they had learned about the polar regions.
Mongolia @ Oriel Y Parc
Elly Morgan from Oriel Y Parc delivered a workshop on Mongolia to children from Roch after school club. The round house at Oriel Y Parc has been converted in to a traditional Mongolian ‘Ger’ which is the home of a nomadic herding family. The exhibition is called Tsagaan Sar (White Moon) and it is celebrating the Mongolian New Year.
SW2U – Silent World To You
Silent World aquarium brought their travelling collection of reptiles, amphibians, marine creatures and mini beasts to the Merlin Theatre in Pembrokeshire college. The event took place over two days with four schools attending. The pupils participated in three different work shops each before finishing the session off with some snake handling.

Return Of The Planetarium March 2012
BBC Stargazing LIVE with Dark Sky Wales
Pembrokeshire College hosted a variety of activities as part of the BBC Stargazing LIVE season. 120 primary school pupils linked to the Buzz club took part in a rocket building workshop as well as a session in the Planetarium where they learned all about our solar system.

Can My Goldfish See In Colour?
